"Introduction to Codes and Standards" Symposium Thank you to everyone who made our March 24, 2004 presentation of "Introduction to Codes and Standards" such a huge success. The second in our well-received series of "Free Lunch" seminars for 2004, the two-hour seminar and luncheon held at the Shorehouse Landing Restaurant in San Clemente was designed for anyone who needs to understand how codes and standards affect the construction of buildings. Presenters Pete Fowler and Paul Kushner dealt with how codes and standards have evolved through the ages to provide for the health, welfare, and safety of the general public and how they continue to evolve today.
