Matthew Philippe is a construction consultant, testifying expert witness, cost estimator, active licensed California General Building Contractor, electrical contractor, plumbing, stucco and tile contractor. Since graduating from California Polytechnic Institute, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Engineering Technology-Welding, Mr. Philippe has focused his energies on issues of quality and standards in the construction and construction manufacturing industries. He has extensive experience with water intrusion issues and waterproofing for showers, stucco, doors, windows and skylights in residential and light construction. He was a trainer for the National Association of Home Builders’ Research Center National Housing Quality Program conducting training for trade contractors and builders. He is a current or past member of standards setting organizations such as the American Society for Testing and Materials, the Association for Manufacturing Excellence, the American Management Association, and the California Building Industry Association. Matthew is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Crestline Sanitation District with responsibility for signing and overseeing public works contracts.
