Construction Technology That's Already Being Seen In Claims Webinar

We last presented this 1-hour program on Thursday, March 30th at 10:00am Pacific

Introduction

Whether it's supply chain problems, labor shortages, rising material costs, or handling backlog, builders and design teams are facing a variety of new challenges. Adding to those challenges is the rise of the use of robotics, drones and computers on the jobsite, remote worksites, modular construction methods, and mobile access are dramatically changing the way construction is conducted and creating an entire new area of trends not only for those building but also for the insurance arena. The construction industry is on the brink of major disruption due to the exponential growth of technology. A preview of it occurred during the pandemic when home builders suddenly had to adapt to a new way of working, but the rate of disruption will be faster and more intense going forward. But with disruption comes new opportunities. In this session, attendees will learn about the difference between linear and exponential technology growth and major advances shaping the construction industry. This thought-provoking talk will leave you optimistic about the future and excited about the new possibilities it presents.

Everyone involved in the construction industry will have an interest and stake in this presentation and ongoing discussion of the changes in the industry and how technology is impacting how construction is done and where the future of liability exposure and claims lies. The audience target will include in-house counsel and risk managers of construction and design firms, insurance brokers, insurers and claims professionals as well as outside counsel providing legal advice to construction parties.
